INTRODUCTION  

PAD  118        THE PRINCIPLES OF DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION.

 This course introduces students to the following: The Meaning of Development Administration, Nature of Development Administration, Theories/Approaches to the Study of Development Administration, Development Administration and Administration Development Debate,  Ecology of Development Administration in Nigeria, Development Planning in Nigeria, Strategies of Development Planning in Nigeria, The Planning Process in Nigeria, Problems and Challenges of Development Planning and Administration, Problems of Planning and Challenges of Development.  At the  end, students are expected to possess the ability  to apply the knowledge acquired to    practice .   Furthermore, the students will be able to define these concepts  and have a deeper understanding and will be able to apply them in their  various fields of human endeavours.  Students  are advised to study  all the  materials available here.
